Kung meron man memory seat config.. much better, still, hindi applicable sa pinas..
kailangan deep pocket.. para makuha ang features na yan..

In the context of the question, he can't do anything about the hood being there.... he can't just chop it off. lol
But by raising your seating position, even slightly, you will see more of the hood but a better vantage point all around. You also see less of the glaring sun and the sky during the day, and less glare from oncoming headlights during the night.

I'm 5'6" driving a Mobilio. Walang height adjustment ang upuan. Hindi ko kita ang hood ko. Tanchameter lang gamit ko kung gano kalapit na ko sa harap ko.

When we got a 1992 Nissan Sentra ECCS SS, it was the first car we ever owned with a sloping bonnet that was below your field of view. Tanging yung corner markers lang ang visible to help you gauge where the corners are.

yup, same here, I can't remember if I was driving with the hood in dight before but I definitely remember that when I got the Civic FB, talagang wala kang hood na makikita dahil sa design ng dash nya and while it can be solved by pushing the seat sagad pataas. it doesn't feel comfortable nsman na malapit uli ko sa ceiling. So I learned to adapt and now sanay na ako maski pumina pa sa objects. Kaso when we got the Territory, na bobo ako sa tanchahan sa parking paatras.
it is getting more and more difficult to estimate the space between my front and the vehicle in front, because of today's cars' sloping fronts. using the headlights helps.

Oh, the Civic FD was a doozy.... but it didn't take long to get used to the invisible hood.
I will still argue that it's always better for the driver to have the highest vantage point that is practical for any vehicle. Almost all obstacles are at or below line of sight, so the higher your sit, you are likely to have better 360-degree visibility and situational awareness.
