Why No bentleys,maybach,aston martin

...pero yung bagong db8 mukhang malabo magkaroon dito. why? aston martin is making only 500 units of them a year and the db8 production for 2 years was sold out in just 4 days when it was released in the market more than 2(?) years ago.

looking for most expensive and most exclusive cars? ask the sultan of brunei.

bentleys are being sold here in th philippines... i think it is for around 20M.

also read in topgear of a filipino construction magnate who has two bentleys that he uses for formal occassions. one for him and one for his wife.

IMO... aston martin doesn't really ring a bell to most filipinos. plus servicing a new aston martin requries a very good technician because of the numerous electronic glitches that this particular model has (as reported by consumers).

the same also goes for the maybach... it doesn't ring a bell though I think that MB will be able to service it since it is essentially a more luxurious S-class.

guys...i think the question is - why do these carmakers not bother to exhibit their cars in the philippines?

if that's the question, the answer is simple - why spend a ton of money (yes, the car show circuit gets expensive) in a market that won't get you any sales?

even here in the US, these carmakers will only exhibit in the major shows (and places where there are a lot of rich people) - NY, LA, Detroit and Miami.

From what I know, these cars are made to order. These luxury cars' specifications are according to the owner's height, weight, arm length, etc. Those filipinos who can afford to have a car made according to their body dimensions, do not really go to local car shows. If manufacturers show these luxury cars, they intended it for magazine writers to put them on their articles/reviews.

But when you go to really huge car shows in Moscow(the latest I saw at the SPEED CHANNEL), China(Beijing), and especially European car shows in London and Paris, these cars come up.

Marami na rin pala ang mga HIGH END models ng kotse sa Pilipinas specially sa Manila . I think the problem why you seldom see them in car shows ay baka ang owners nito acquired the vehicles for STATUS SYMBOL and not for the love of the automobile .

Another reason why the owners dont have their cars displayed on shows is because of the logistics & security nightmare on the safety of the car. Just imagine the sea of humanity that'll pass by your car. Imagine the number of ingiteros who'll scratch the paint or throw stuff at it. Naturally hahawakin nila yung oto at sasandal sa pintura para ma kodakan sila. Who'll the owner go after? The organizer? Mahal kaya magpagawa ng magandang oto. Honda's already charging an arm for a repaint of a Honda Civic what more for a repaint of a say a Ferrari?

Unless the display of the car is a way to make money then it isnt worth doing.

Marami na rin ang may MAYBACH sa US . Very in demand ang kotse na ito specially sa mga RAP stars like 50 Cent , P.Diddy ,Jay Z and JaRule .

300 maybachs were sold in the US upto Nov this year... very exclusive car...
