naalala ko lang, it's already a year since i had my last underwash and it's almost three years since i had my last engine wash (pero i regularly brush up the dust accumulating under my hood..)

may masamang epekto ba to? (not doing an underwash/engine wash regularly?)

underwash? very rare... usually ako na ang tumitira nyan sa bahay... basta high pressure water. dapat lang matanggal yung mga accumulated dirt / mud. kasi kapag nabasa, na reretain ng moisture & baka pwede pang panggalingan ng rust.

engine wash? since medyo na exposed ako sa kotse, hindi na. maraming pwedeng masira kapag mali. kaya engine detailing na lang.

engine wash: very seldom. i dont remember my last engine wash anymore.

i think you can do your underwash everytime you change your oil. isunod mo after ng change oil mo. depende kung madalas mo gamitin ung car mo.

underwash, minsan lng sobra dahil bihira lng lumabas nang umuulan ang tsikot.
engine wash, never kc mahirap na baka may mangyaring masama although pwede naman icover mga electricals. i just use a toothbrush for engine detailing.

pag nagpapa-change oil ako sa Caltex (every 3-4 months) libre na yung underwash at engine wash ko

kaka engine wash ko lang december last year, DIY din. Tinakpan ko ng plastic + rag yung alternator and MAF sensor but no hi pressure rinsing.

engine wash, siguro mga once every 3 months, or kapag masyado ng maalikabot sa engine bay. madalas kasi ako sa dirt roads.

got into this habit when i lived in snowy climates, where you needed to get rid of all the road salt and crap after every winter to preserve your car's condition.

Engine Wash: Not too often (every other year?).

Engine wash? mas more of Engine Detail.. hindi hi-pressure wash gamit ko.. Degreaser / APC tapos Engine Dressing and Metal Polish.

Underwash naman once every 3-4 months.
