Guys i just came back from Pangasinan, then upon arrival o Manila went to Malabon na baha pag dating ko, the car is so dirty looks like dumaan sa off road talga, ask ko lang How do you properly take care of your car in these conditions?

    1. Dirty - Muds all over
    2. Dirty below - Passed through floods in Malabon which is salty water, might cause rust
    3. Long Drive - driven for almost 650km in three days.

pero pinaka concern ko is the salty water and air in Malabon, kakalawangin ba yun agad? or rustproof and underwash is okay?

BTW, san nag uunderwash na nag tatanggal ng gulong din?, same kina cheiffy dati, yung ganun kalinis ang pag linis

ingat sa underwash. some of these will wash away the protective grease ng underchassis mo kaya after you all of a sudden hear a lot more squeeks than before.

yung body, i think a normal car wash will do.

i wouldn't suggest those commercialized underwash shops. most of them are using too much pressure for such a mundane task. if you want, you can request them to turn down the pressure level.

or you can DIY. am doing it the hard way by using my hands to literally remove the mud while spraying on water. for those parts that i can't reach that just spray them with water.

    question:
do i have to put grease/oil sa mga ball joints, stabilizer bushings?? di ba ang may protective grease lang ay ang steering rack, axle and the vc joints which are protected by their boots??

zero::: Dipende sa sasakyan, some vehicles have sealed balljoints. Kung may zerk fittings yan, tsaka lang pwede refill ng grease. Stabilizer bushings need to be regreased if frequent driving to flood prone areas to avoid sqeaky suspension.

rukawa::: Any gas or service staion that has lifter can accomodate under chassis wash. You will just have to dictate them how you want it done. Medium rare or well done... just kidding!

Kung DIY, best to remove majority of the DRIED mud when the car is still dry... Water plus mud = paste-like mess... much harder to clean off.

kung meron kayo undercoat, mas dapat ninyo bantayan yung underwash kundi matutuklap lang yung undercoat sa sobrang lakas po..
