Ang point ko lang it provide jobs for filipinos (aside sa dealership syempre). Nacurious lang ako kung parehas pa rin trato nyo with other thread na pag china brand. Your response already answers my question

A bit odd if it's true that it will be assembled at Clark considering Chinese labor is cheaper. There must be an underlying sinister reason for this.

Still, I wouldn't buy a China brand car and give them more resources to steal territories of my motherland. That's why whenever I see a chinese car on the road, I think to myself, this person must really hate the Philippines - then again why is this traitor still here??. yep. Chinese car buyer = Traitor. Still, that's just my opinion of them, I don't confront nor beat them up. LOL.

Ugali kasi ng karamihan sa Pinoy, kung paano sya makikinabang. "Me" mentality. China cars mas mura, quesehoda kung sinasangkop na bayan, basta bibilhin nila ito kasi pabor sa kanila.

China is not interested in a small country. It wants to dominate the world and they have been slowly working on it successfully with their manufacturing prowess. We now live and breath China made products, pati na sa mga piyesa ng computer na ginagamit mo. What does that make you, a china lover too? Kung may Kotse na gawang PINOY at hindi assembled lang at bibili ka ng gawang China instead para makamura maiintindihan pa kita. The sad truth is we don't have our own transport product na matatawag na purely Philippine made that we can be proud of and loyal. Matagal na tayong bumibili at gumagamit ng foreign cars from countries that also messed with our motherland like the US and Japan. Is China any different?

Basta China branded products, maski made or assembled in the Philippines or elsewhere, dapat kasama sa boycott. Sira na kukote mo kung papagamit ka sa mga intsik na yun.
