Gd evening po mga Sir,

I own a Ford Lynx 2000, kanina when I was to drive it the office I did a walk-around inspection. Ginamit kasi ng dad ko this morning yung car.

I do this po regularly para maiwasan ang aberya when driving.

Then nung chi-neck ko na ung water level para dun sa radiator, nakita ko na lang na wala ng tubig yung tank and yung radiator. Tapos may nakita akong spillage signs sa may area nung tank na parang water was forced out dun sa tank. What could have caused this po kaya?

Wala naman pong leak ung water reservoir. I just refilled the radiator and ung tank/reservoir, wala naman poa kong nakitang pinag-iba sa takbo nya. Nag-woworry lang po ako baka may sira siya.

Hope you could help me with this po.

Kung hindi naman nag overheat makina mo wala naman problema o tumataas ang temperature . Check mo rin iyong mga hose clamp mo , Radiator hose at Radiator cap baka sira na cause rin ito para lumabas iyong tubig sa radiator mo pag uminit makina sira na iyong goma o iyong spring ng radiator cap.

I have experienced this on another brand of car, usually happens pag sobrang init na ng makina then the water from the radiator and reservoir will start to flush out.. monitor your temp regularly. check your radiator and aux fan if they are working..if they are ok (much better), usually the culprit is your radiator cap. try to change first the radiator cap and i hope it will solve your problem.

Paki check mo na lang iyong radiator hose mo baka wornout na at iyong hose clamp . Iyong rariator cap kapag sira na iyong goma at spring sa loob dahilan rin para lumabas tubig sa radiator mo pag uminit makina . Basta hindi lang magoverheat makina mo okay lang at palagi mong check iyong water level kung hindi mo pa naaayos ito.

Malapit lang naman yung dinrive niya and nag-overheat daw yung lynx...

I've checked the water level last night, ok pa naman. What could have caused my lynx to overheat? Ok pa naman yung radiator cap ko, though I haven't checked the hose yet.

First time ko pa lang maka-encounter ng overheat in my 10 years of driving and I have driven as long as pagugdpod.

What are the things that I have to check after mag-overheat yung car? and what to do to correct it?

Sabi nung kaibigan ng daddy ko, na kasama nya that time. di daw gumagana yung cooling fan ng lynx, eh di ba dalawa yung coolong fan nun, isang main and isang aux fan. The aux fan is triggered kapag naka-aircon ka while the main fan is trigered via coolant temperature so it doesn't work all the time even if the aircon is on.

What is the culprit po kaya? I haven't seen the car yet (kagigising ko lang ) and haven't talked to dad yet, andun pa daw yung car sa gas station. Dun daw nag-overheat nung magpapagas na sana siya.

Please help po.

It could be the thermoswitch or radiator fan motor itself.
