Ford Eco Sport 2004

Have anyone seen one of this?

I saw it at tagaytay last year after christmas.

a little smaller than the ESCAPE with 1.6L engine.

Is this being sold locally by Ford?

Cute ito bigger than the susuki Jimmy but smaller than the Escape and with 1.6L engine so malamang mura dapat ito.

Sino ba ang responsible sa EcoSport? Ford Europe (Focus, Mondeo, Transit) or Ford USA (Escort, Taurus, Freestar)?

Eco Sport has the same platform with current focus.

Ah oki. European operations pala siya. Mas gusto ko ang Euro Ford kaysa sa U.S. Yung Ford Australian ops ok din ang products. Kakaaliw.

I don't think that Ford Euro is in charge of the Eco Sport as it is marketed primarily to the Southern Americas.

yes, north america and europe are not responsible for eco sport, it's the ford of brasil. but eco sport is based on focus platform.

And the Focus is derived from the Euro operations of Ford.

Tatlo lang kasi ang major operating arms ng Ford. U.S., Euro and Oz. Usually galing sa isa sa mga iyan ang product line nila. Yung sa Pilipinas halong mostly U.S. at Oz line up.

Pero doesn't make sense to import a 1.6L car here.
