If we're talking about the coming one, no opinion yet. Haven't seen it in the flesh and haven't driven it.

If we're talking about the current ones in the dealership, love the hatch, don't like the sedan's interior. The transmission is definitely better than the six speed in the Cruze VCDi and the engine may lack the high rpm zing, but it has better punch all throughout and terrific fuel economy. The Focus also still has some of the best handling and chassis dynamics in the compact class, but the recent facelift has made it a bit stiff.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

brilliant cars..we had two of these. I'm not a big fan of the Powershift transmission as I still believe that Dual Clutch Transmission is not yet a perfected technology. We had a transmission change on one of the cars but that was alright as Ford replaced it free of charge. these are really fast and very fuel efficient cars nothing like any in its class. handling is good too. downside is that parts are not widely available like mitsus and toyotas but you can get hold of them from some specialists.

As per the new version, don't know when its coming out in the Philippines. It looks like a bigger version of the Fiesta. I've driven the 2.0 TDCi powershift and a 1.6 petrol non ecoboost. I believe they used carryover powertrain from the previous model so performance shouldnt be too far off. The petrol version 1.6 though was really struggling to accelerate the car..Both cars have the start/stop system and the Start Button switch (no need to use the key). The interior was nice and I like the big improvement on the seats. It offers much better support compared to the previous model where it felt like youre gonna fall off your seats during hard cornering. Handling was as good as the old one if not a little bit better. overall the new model is a good car and i would want to own one.

My colleague who got the 2.0TDCI powershift was just complaining that he ordered the car in Mars Red and what he got was an orange car which was quite similar to the shade of the passion orange civic SiR... i told him that when you look at planet Mars its not really red and it is a bit orange even though we call it the red planet... he just started laughing and said that it was a good point and he's blaming himself for selecting a company car just by browsing the brochure and not seeing it in flesh

get the focus diesel now. alam ko wala pang diesel variant na ipapasok once 2012 focus becomes available. and 2012 focus becomes available late-2012 pa.

I like the beige interior of the focus ghia. the auto retractable side mirrors, rain wiper sensors and airvents at the second row seats is a big plus. My question is, totoo ba na aabot ng 17km/li ang fc for this 2.0L? it's hard to believe imo.

ALam ko wala. Sa sedan lang kasi they are billing the sedan as more mature and luxurious while the hatchback as the more sportier variant.

Malabo sa US, but since our Focus has always been based on European offerings, there's a good chance that when the diesel comes out, it will come here.

In my experience with both the MT and DCT Focus, 12-13 km/l is best in traffic. Heavy traffic brings it down to 7.5 - 8.5 km/l... but said heavy traffic brings the City iDSi and Vios 1.3 down to 8, also.
