Ford Escape 2004 V6 XLT engine "hiccups" during idling

Hi guys,

I noticed that my engine started to have a rythmic hiccup during idling, and mapapansin na medyo nag tataas-baba ung idling ko mga every .5 seconds. It sometimes would result to the car shaking a bit.

Is it a fuel filter or air filter problem? or a defective spark plug? any thoughts?

I have the same problem with my V6 escape. I was told it could be the spark plugs, just don't have time yet to have it checked.
