help!total wreck ang Altis nmin..need to buy a new car

Hi Guys, a few weeks ago nabangga ang toyota altis nmin..just bought last december..total wreck sya..the insurance company agreed na to pay 800k less 4,500 na participation..so ok na din..the altis cost 850k so lost na ung 50k..

now we're planning to buy a new car..still deciding which car to buy..i was initially bent on buying a honda civic..kso mukhang sobrang common na nga sa kalsada..tpos sobrang mahal pa..at 870k ung matic..mazda3 would be ok din..ksi cheapest sya..at 820k?..tpos read some forums na kya daw ibaba un till mga 770k..kso luma na sya..and the new one will be released soon..not sure lng when..tpos my bro saw ung ad sa T3 magazine about sa ford focus..d ksali sa choices ko initially..ksi was thinking mahal ang focus..turns out..ung hatch eh nsa 840k lng?..

help nman po..which one's the best..fuel consumption is not that much of an issue..ksi i'm working abroad..and will just use the car pag nsa pinas ako..my mom will be using it while im away..pero bihira nman din gamitin so ok lng khit matakaw sa gas..

concern is styling..quality ng ride..etc..tska if anyone can suggest where to buy the car..tska till how much ang discount and freebies kung mron..

Anyway, buti na lang that cars these days are well-made for safety. They're no longer made to survive a pretty major crash in favor for its occupants. Kaya, buckle-up everyone.

Well, I was in the same boat three months ago and syempre and napili ko -- Mazda3!! Kunin mo na lang yung V variant. Lahat ng comfort na pede mo isipin andun na. And ung safety features nya mataas.. like sobrang kapal ng body na kahit sipain di aalog (wag mo lang tatamaan.. lol. joke lang)

And since di nmn concern ung FC.. go na!

849k less 55-65k discount. Libre pa first year insurance, etc..

Pure value for money..

Yun nga lang, baka nga lalabas na ung new model next year. Pero maganda pa nmn ung current generation imho :p

Whoa grabe ang damage ah! Buti safe ang passengers. As for the new car you might be choosing, kung wala naman kayong stigma sa Altis because of that incident and kung satisfied naman kayo, then okay pa rin yun; ibang color na lang piliin ninyo. Hehe...

As for your other choices, Civic ako. May facelifted model na lalabas, but I think very minor lang ang changes so okay pa rin sa'kin yung current model (that's just me, though). Hintayin niyo rin baka maglabas ng discounts. Okay din ang City, but I think the Civic is more practical and stable especially at highways.

ayaw na ng mom ko ung altis eh..ok nga sana civic..kaso mahal lng..ung 1.8v na matic 870 na..tpos halos lahat ng feedbacks..gsto iupgrade nlang sa s..eh sobrang mahal na nung 1.8s..hehehe..as much as possible ksi ayaw ko muna maglabas ng pera..crisis ksi..so either same price lng din as the altis which is sub 850k..

question lng po uli...pano ba process pagclaim sa isurance?pagnagbayad ba insurance..klangan muna i settle ung utang sa banko?then kung bili ka new car..need uli open new loan?

down to ford focus hatch or mazda3 or honda civic..hahaha..wala ng katapusan to...hahaha..will call ford libis nlang muna..inquire about promos..thanks sa mga reply..

People's insurance? actually ung sister ko nagproprocess..ksi im here abroad..d pa released ung check..antay pa i release ung kotse from toyota to the insurance company..pero lam ko un nlang ung kulang..aun sa sister ko..

ok nman sila..trauma lng..hehehe..mdyo mahal po ksi ata itong lancer na bago..850k or less sana..ganda sana civic pero mdyo mahal..anyway..magtest drive nlang ako paguwi..kung ganda tlga ang civic at ok tlga performance para ijustify ang price..bka un nlang..prang iba pa din ksi..proven na tlga honda tska toyota..kaya din ako nagpost d2..para maconvince na focus nlang..wla pa tlga final decision eh..

I think the Civic premium is worth it over its rivals. Its has the best balance of power and fuel efficiency. That's me though...

But I am glad everyone is safe. That's one huge crash...

As for the Focus there is only one Focus IMO that is worth and that is the P1.1M top of the line TDCi powered Focus. The gas variants, meh mag Civic ka na lang...

sir Honda Civic nalang po ipalit nyo. i'm a proud FD owner. ganda ng performance sa mga curves at hindi ako nabibitin sa overtakes. malapad pa yung gulong (1.8S rims 16") kaya hindi taubin. tapos mababa ang clearance sa ground to maximize the traction.
