Ford on Thursday launched the Everest, a new seven-seat family sport utility vehicle, at the 24th Bangkok International Motor Show, the second-largest motor show in the Asia-Pacific region. The new SUV debuts in Thailand and ultimately will be available in more than 50 countries. Hindi ba kapareho iyan ng Mazda Prarie of the 80's? Sabagay, Mazda naman yung Ranger. A good concept. Kulang lang ng headroom sa likod dahil mataas ang floor.

looks a bit ungainly... appears a bit too long with extra-large glass area, not as well-integrated as the revo, crosswind, or adventure, imo.

Toyota released Hilux Sport Rider, then Nissan followed with something called Matrix. Finally Ford introduced Everest, what's next for Mitsubishi? This platform is beginning to create its own category, imo. 8O

Technically, yes they do belong to the same AUV roots. But, based on CAMPI, the AUVs are Category I, while Light Commercial Vehicles are on Category II. Where do you think these new genes will fit in?

I saw one yesterday at the Glorietta. Right Side drive pa nga siya, Thai standard. It is to be released here on November, but Ford is already taking orders to avoid the excise tax penalties.

Maganda ang pagkakagawa, easy close ang mga pintuan parang me magnet. Masikip nga ang headspace sa likod, pam bata lang. Me built in cup holders pa nga sa likod e. Me dual airbags, all wheel ABS, 4x4 and 4x2 options. Crosswind style ang rear door pati yung door mounted spare mag. Heavy sa chrome, guapo talaga. All leather seats with three point seatbelts. 265/70R15 mags

Some negative comments dun sa leaf spring na rear suspension at yung low ceiling. At 1.16M for the 4x4, 980T fro the 4x2. medyo competitive ang presyo nito. Pajero-sized pero mukhang CRV at Rav4 ang talagang kalaban nito.

long time i havent logged in here
FYI on nov. 8 2003 at the fort i will be doing a public test drive of the everest for Ford Phil. and thier sales rally in the evening drop by during the day for a chance to test drive it but priority will,be given to the dealers of fords guest.
