Hello everyone - Ford newbie here. Just got my white Fiesta Sport last week . I've been spending my time getting to know the car, its features and quirks.

One thing that bugs me a little bit is that the driver's side mirror doesn't really adjust very far outward. I have tried moving it so that I can see less of the car's body, and more of the lane next to me. However, the mirror can only move so much, and what I have set is already sticking out a little bit beyond the casing. I can still see some part of the car's body though. Is this typical of the Fiesta?

Meron naman blind spot area yung mirror (I really love this feature of the Fiesta, in other cars you still need to lean forward to see the blind spot) so you really need not to extend it too much. Ideally ang setup ng side mirror is you still see a portion of your car...

Hmmm . . . kung max na yun adjustment ng mirror, how about adjusting your seat a little.

Thank you. This was the same principle I was aiming for. I adjust the mirror so that I am not able to see the car body, because I know where the car is relative to the mirror, but I do want to see more of the lane beside me.

I tried! I ended up with my knees too close to the steering wheel. Not a very comfortable position to be in .

I have mine set so I can still see the door handles. I have a very narrow gate to reverse into, and the Fiesta wheel arches stick out more than my old car, and could easily hit the gate post if I couldn't see them in the mirror. Reversing sensors work well, but a "visual" is safest.

Driving in the Philippines, specially (espeicially as Kuya Germs puts it) in rural roads where mopeds abound, I would not subscribe to the "correct" way of adjusting the mirrors wide.

Here are opposing views on the subject:

    The "correct" way: http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~gdguo/driving/BlindSpot.htm

    The "old school" way: http://www.driveandstayalive.com/art...he-mirrors.htm

Don't you hate it when those moth#$fu*&ers tailgate you gunning their tiny and disproportionately little engines hovering somewhere near your rear right tail with their glaring "HID" lights?

I'm always tempted to flick my tail and throw them in the gutter where they should stay.

Feeling nila Harley ang sinasakyan, eh sinlaki lang ng pipit yung makina.

Kapag medyo na stop light ka o medyo matrapik, dun nila babanatan ng arangkada.

Also to add, would it be possible that the Fiesta has been engineered so well that it limits us from adjusting too wide, thus the poster's frustration of not having it wide enough?
