K & N filter safe?

Want to know any feedback on the use of K & N filter? Is it good to use with diesel engine? Thanks for the feedback

so fa so good. ala pa naman akong naging problema sa focus tdci ko. been using k&n filter for sometime now.

Mavovoid ba warrany pag nag palit ng Drop In filter sa Montero 4x2 GLS?

Yes sir, it is safe. Though I haven't used such filters, but I have been planning in purchasing one, K&N is a reputable brand and their filters have been installed already in lots of car units. ;)

Simota, is also one.

jmpet : Bro, to be sure you can call up Mitsubishi regarding that.

So far ok naman po. I've been using drop-in k&n filter nung 1month old pa lang yung strada. Its been through dusty roads weekly pag dinadala sa farm, medyo worried nga ako nung una since may snorkel at parang pasok lakat ang dust pero wala naman naging problema. I have noticed a little improvement in acceleration pero sa fc parang wala eh. Also medyo maingay na yung engine, you can hear the rumbling lalo na pag idle, kasi less restrictive yung design nya. hth

K&N is one of the safest replacement air filter out there. Kung gusto niyo nang mas malakas ang performance, try Simota (just buy the original one, maraming fakes nito) although mas less ang air filtering compared sa K&N.

Meron po bang K%N Filter for 2nd gen vios?
mga how much kaya un?
how much din po ung sa simota?san ba nakakabili nun na original?

sir anong klaseng filter ba tinatanong mo? open type or drop-in?

K&N- open type around 4k. drop-in around 2-3k.
Simota - open type lang meron around 500-600php. (basta naka-box tapos may Simota na sticker hehe)

ako kasi sir hindi ko na tinatanong kung meron sila para sa specific models dahil kadalasan wala. pero tingin ko sa Vios meron naman po, adaptor lang naman ang kadalasang problem.
