ford sold 78,847 f-150's for the month of may 04, that's 10,000 more than toyota and nissan's sales for tundra and titan COMBINED FOR THE WHOLE 2004 (january to may).
amazing............beautiful truck........brawny rig..............
i thought people at Nissan and Toyota once said their product would seize a hefty market share once introduced.................................
......................it remained a thought.
the japanese's claim of more market share for the US' fullsize truck market remains a lofty goal.toyota targets 100,000 tundras sold every year(i think they were right on target last year) and nissan said it could sell that same amount too, this year (and even said its canton,MS plant can churn 150,000 titans if needed) but the following numbers you should decide on:
sales of fullsize trucks in US jan-may 2004:
ford f-150 358,034
chevrolet silverado 270,920
dodge ram 178,764
toyota tundra 42,276
nissan titan 26,711
lofty goals, will the new tundra due out in 2006 change the picture?
i like the look of the new f150... the interior got special attention too. the only jap competition againt the f150 is the nissan titan which isnt bad looking either.
american fullsize truck buyers are a very loyal lot. american cars have fallen for the last decade, toyoa is no.1 in cars and lexus no.1 luxury carmaker. but fullsize trucks (and SUVs), no amount of import-hugging babyboomers can change the picture (yet) meaning detroit's fullsize rigs are the still the kings......
Originally posted by rebel The new F-150 has the new 3V 5.4L engine as power plant.
But if they choose to put the 6.0L Diesel engine hanep as in super rocket na.
rebel, nabasa ko na naman yang 3V na yan.
di alam ng mga chick yang 2V o 3V, kht maging 4V pa siya hehe.
