    It was an invitation for an Everest Test drive.

    Ayon sa liham, may 4x4 model with LSD na lalabas. 4x2 M/T is priced at Php980K. Reservations are being accepted na.

    Factory installed LSD for Ford trucks. Even their in Ranger line-ups.

    the everest just look liked ford ranger na nilagyan ng shell sa likod.
    meron display dati sa theater mall , pero right hand drive la nga...

    That's because it IS a Ford Ranger. Yun likod lang ang iniba.

    Pero kinopya din nila ito sa JDM Mazda Prarie (diba yung Ranger ay derived sa Mazda B-series). Kaya nakatipid sa development at production costs.

    sabi sakin dun sa Ford Makati, mas malaki daw ng konti ung Everest kesa standard na Ford Ranger.
    pano kaya yun? eh di ibang set-up na naman sa plant nila.
    di ba yun na nga yung iniiwasan ng mga car companies.

    Same wheelbase, pero mas mahaba ang front and rear overhang. Yung lapad naiba lang ata dahil sa flares. Mas mataaas din ng konti roofline ng Everest.

    X-trail kasi is new platform kaya mahal. Everest truck platform from the 80's ang gamit kaya nakamura. Pero hindi naman halatang kasabayan pa niya ang Bagets diba? hehehe.

    hehe.. nakita ko yan sa shangrila mall...parang trooper na medyo cheaper version lang... maganda pero un design parang outdated na...SUV ba sya?? tingin ko kasi auv lang sya pero medyo mahal hehe although ang laki laki. ryt hand drive din un nakita ko , thailand version ata

    own opiion ko parang ang cheap ng interiors (nakita ko rin sya on display sa shan last sun)

    pero better choice cguro than getting auvs wout 4wd

    saw it too. and yes, it it a thai unit.

    they said they don't have the a/t yet but it will be available soon. i hope this is correct since that's what they said about the a/t on the ranger before!

    tama kayo, it does look like a patrol! and it is a better choice that the auv's out there. bigger and more comfortable seating lay-out, plus turbo inter-cooler pa!

    sa mga pickup-based na seven-seaters, hindi ford ang nauna, if 4x4 magazine ang basis, I beliveve its mitsubishi G-Wagon came first, then Toyota, Ford, then Isuzu which is based on DMax.

    Sa apat, Ford ang unang magpaparating sa Pinas. Nasa Inquirer, Thursday motoring edition na ang review..., to be cont,. next week
