Humming sound (Ford Escape)

Got an XLT Ford escape last month. Around 600km pa lang natatakbo. usually used during weekends lang city driving. Just recently heard a humming sound right after umandar ako. Was thinking its coming from the brakes that somewhat got stuck because it is not used frequently but have driven it for a short distance muna before ko narinig. After about 10 meters nawala naman sound. Anyone here got the same experience? Thanks in advance.

Banda likod ba yung sound? Sa brake nga yan pre, ibalik mo sa CASA to check.

Yup I think sa likod nga galing sound. Heard it again this morning going out of the garage then its gone. Same sound sya ng mga trailer trucks when they brake. Will have it checked on my first 1000km checkup. Thanks for the response.

Dalawa yan bro. Madalas sa likod pag uphill or downhill then mag brake ka. Pangalawa, yung sa unahan pag traffic subukan mo mag brake ng dahan-dahan. Gagawin nila dyan is to tighten something na part.

AT po ba? Suggest ko lang po kung naninikit nga ang preno -- pag park po ay humanap kayo ng patag na lugar at safe from hard impact the do NOT engage the handbrake -- just put on Park.

Lalo na kung nagdaan sa ulan o sa baha (kahit mababaw). Baka sa tagal naka engage ang HB ay dumidikit ang preno dahil sa condensation.

AT Sir. Hindi talaga naka engage handbrake pag nakaparada sa garahe. I'm using the car more frequently now and so far no more humming sound. What I experience lang ngayon is when I take it out of the garage, un pag engage ng preno medyo may metallic sound pero pag nakaandar na nawawala naman.

Quite normal for me. Lalo na ngayon medyo malamig mga moist sa brake pad makikita mo medyo kalawang. Pero yun nga after mo itakbo nawawala. Pero yung sounds sa likod hinde pa rin ba nawawala?

Good thing sir nawala naman ng mas ginamit ko na madalas ang car. So far ok na naman ngayon wala pa naeexperience out of the ordinary. Thanks for the comments.
