    Dear co-Fiesta owners,

You will agree that it will best for all of us if more people joined our ranks. More Fiestas sold means more parts and merchandise imported. Economy of scale dictates that greater volume brings down the cost.

Much like Sir Tidus' owners list, I request you all to add to my own "pitch" to friends when I show them my shiny new Fiesta. Here goes:

    1. Best looking among other brands in the same price range.
    2. "Feather Touch" steering intelligent enough to give more power at low speeds and less at high speeds where you need less wheel movement. Hydraulic systems on other cars do not.
    3. Smooth and silent ride that adds to...
    4. Excellent Ford Audio
    5. Custom audio head unit won't fir other cars - one less reason for thieves to break your windows.

from the top of my head:

    1. Bluetooth and Voice control for the sport model.
    2. Most powerful stock 1.6L engine in the country(according to TopGear)
    3. Most economical automatic transmission(according to C!-Magazine)

It looks the best in the class IMO (the hatchback), I don't digg the sedan that much...

Its the best in terms of NVH in the class... Its a small car but really feels a grown up car cause of the NVH. Its better than a Civic FD which is a class above and that is coming from me who owns both cars...

Very good value given its price and the features and specs of the car...

And most of all. ITS SO FUN TO DRIVE!!! If you're like me who wants good driving car even for a Point A - B type of car then the Fiesta is for you.

Sir Tidus, could you post a separate thread, perhaps titled "2011 FORD FIESTA LOCAL ACCESSORIES"? (di ko pa alam eh, newbie pa here!)
Think we need constant updates from tsikoteers (non-Sports variant owners) on accessories' availability (where?) and pricings, i.e.,

    For 1.4/1.6 Trend variants:
    1. mud/splash guards, molded-type (both for HB & sedan)
    2. front fog lights (chrome/black finish)
    3. rear speakers (if audio head unit has option to add addl speakers at the back)
    4. fuel cap/plug (worried that high-pressure water or foam used would get-in during carwash)
    5. chrome door handle
    6. illuminated door sill plates
    7. illuminated gear shift knob
    8. car body tattoo/graphics
    ETC.

    Thanks.

Maybe the thread should be titled "Reasons to buy the Ford Fiesta NOW" as the staff at the showroom where I picked up my unit said that price will rise next year.

I am not shocked at all with possible price increases next year... Just the Sport trim with all its features an specs seem very introductory pricing to me as I have mentioned before in another thread...

    Dunno how accurate it is.

    Ford Fiesta 1.6L = 121hp
Kia SOUL 1.6L = 122hp matched with a short-geared AT, sprints well in city driving.

    Manufacturer's specs.

I saw a review of the Kia Soul on "Fifth Gear" the alternative car show to "Top Gear" in the UK.
The reviewer stated that it was "probably one of the slowest cars he had tested in the last few years".
    Around 11.5 seconds to 62 mph (100km/h)
Fiesta does it in around 10 seconds.

could be the weight, a Kia Soul is heavier than a Fiesta...
