ssaloon is right! a 2-liter costing less than 900k should be a bargain! i saw it at glorietta yesterday and it looked good. the engine looked like it was lifted off the mazda 626.

but suspension still looks stock. sana they put in stiffer springs para talagang race-prepped. kasi to wear an RS badge you are treading along the lines of escorts and sierras of years back! sana ilabas na lang yung focus RS para panlaban sa impreza wrx and evo8

yung lynx CE daw limited units lang, pero maglalabas din daw ang ford ng lynx RS, iba lang ang interior pero parehong engine, exterior... yun unlimited units depending on market demand.

.........saw it too. imagine, a 2.0L engine under the hood of a midsize sedan (mid nga ba o small?) with all the goodies for under 900k. malamang ubos yan 100 units when it oges on sale. if that is a 626 engine, that lynx will just fly. even the altis 1.8G looks very heavy.

engine should be better than the 626s. according to the spec sheet it's the 2.0li zetec, similar to the one in the focus. the 2002 626 (obviously not sold here) is only good for 130hp, this lynx makes 141hp and 17.1kgm(wow!) torque.

possibly an SiR beater... with some mods it should be very easy to take this one up to 160+hp.

buti pa sa Ford nilabas kahit in limited numbers lang yung RS with 2.0 Liter engine...

sana yung ganun din sa Thailand Civic na may 2.0 Liter i-vtec engine ilabas din dito... pero mukhang malabo na yun kase 2.0L na yung Accord :|
