Ask ko lang if lahat ba ng Ford Lynx RS ay Centennial Edition?
If no, anong difference ng Centennial Edition sa normal Lynx RS? Thanks.

alam ko iba engine nila, at cosmetic differences lang like grills, emblems etc. the RS has the more powerful engine ata...
correct me if im wrong
badges.
same lang lahat except for the nardi torino badge sa steering wheel and the "100" ford centennial badge sa trunk.
Tama si Bai... he should know, Centennial sa kanya.
Differences lang talaga, "100" badge, "Nardi" badge sa steering wheel (but both the Centennial and RS had original Nardi leather wheels).
Everything else is exactly the same. Same engine, same wheels, same tires, same body kit and strut bar. Except for the color. Centennials only came in black. Regular RS's came in red, mostly, with one white, one aquamarine and even a few more black ones at the end of the production run, but without the Centennial badging.

Question lang, nabasa ko sa isang thread dito na may moonroof ang Lynx RS, anong difference ng moonroof sa sunroof?
Tsaka magkano kaya ang 2nd hand na Lynx RS? Thanks.
moonroof - glass only
sunroof - glass inside but with outer cover

As far as I know, people use them interchangeably now.
According to the internet... (ask yahoo, hehehe), sunroofs are metal covers and moonroofs, as invented by Ford (in its marketing literature) are motorized glass.
Nowadays, nobody makes a sunroof. They're all moonroofs.
The Lynx's moonroof is a motorized glass of the common tilt-and-slide variety. It's smaller than the one we had in the Sentra Exalta, but it's still big enough to crawl out of if you ever get the yen to sit on the roof... :hysterical:
There's an inner cover that you can manually pull closed to keep the sun out during the day time, and it has vents in it, so if you tilt the roof open and open the outside vents on the aircon panel, you can have a fresh breeze blow through the cabin... pretty strong on the highway, and nice if you want fresh air without having to roll down your windows.

ang RS ba ng lynx parehas ng gsi or ghia na may gen 1,2,3 na pinago-bago ang look? i'm planning kasi to buy skirts and grill ng RS for my gsi from a shop here in las pinas, sabi nila i-oorder so i need to make a deposit, eh naisip ko baka ibang kit maibigay nila sakin
The RS has the same body as the third-generation Lynx... but the skirts and spoiler will fit all three.
As for the grille, there are "RS" grilles that will fit the older Lynxes, too.
RE: secondhand pricing:
Some are still asking as high as 600k, but fair price is between 400-550 (common last asking is 450).
Lower than other 2.0s on the market, but c'mon, this car was only 800k brand new (just 50k more than common 1.6's at the time) while all the other 2.0s started at 900-950k.

800k brand new?!? Eh kaso wala na yatang Lynx RS sa mga factory ng Ford ngayon eh.
Yup. Super cheap for a 2.0... which was one reason why we got it.
816k yung orignal price, 825k yung last price. When the production run ended, they had three or four units left, still selling at 825k at a time when 2.0s were pushing 1 million pesos already.
