Yes doors can be opened from the INSIDE even if lock is activated. If everyone is mature ayos yan kasi paminsan if you are in a hurry. Mahirap kung may bata...
There is also no warning that the car is not locked even if moving, it also does not have speed sensing lock. But a warning if the doors is not closed. Both by chime and by the multi info display like this...

Yung seatbelt warning seems to be speed sensing. When I am moving slowly and remove my seatbelt ok lang. Pero kung medyo mabilis ka then remove the seatbelt, it will chime. Once I didn't wear my seatbelt kasi I'll make a stop sa kapitbahay on the next block, nung medyo bumilis ako, the seatbelt warning came on. Not sure if speed ang trigger or gear (e.g pag 2nd or 3rd gear).

My family/ancestors  started with American Fords which kept on growing bigger every generation then later on switched to smaller euro Fords.
The Mk2 Focus has individual door locks, the two front door locks can unlock all doors. Like the Fiesta, the locked doors can be opened from the inside.
I don't recall if the Mk2 Focus has an auto-lock function when the engine is running because I always lock the door before I drive off.
If a door is left open/not closed properly, it just has a warning light.Last edited by AG4; December 3rd, 2010 at 12:20 PM.

December 3rd, 2010 08:00 AM #10Good mornin' guys,
Been a tsikot member since a few months back and been planning to buy a Tucson but because of my budget constraints, I just decided to get my 2nd Ford car (first, 1999 Ford Lynx GHIA)...as i fell in love with the FIESTA.
However, I am a bit disappointed why there's no 1.6L SPORT SEDAN available in our country. Good for Thailand because they have that model...arrrgghh!Does anyone of you knows if the SPORT SEDAN will eventually reach our Philippine shores?
This is my #1 choice so far. I am not into hatchback and the color which i like (gold) is not available either.
Anyway, I already reserved my Ford Fiesta (1.6L TREND PS) Sparkling Gold Sedan yesterday here in Ford Naga (Bicol).
Hope to hear from you guys!
Thank you so much.
How about 97 LXi?
