hi guys, im new here. just wanna ask the opinions of owners or any useful infos regarding 1998- 00 ford f150 xlt w/ v6 engine. im thinking of getting one for business use. i have a honda accord, & the problem w/ cars is that you can't carry many stuffs unlike pick ups or trucks. id like to know, how's the gas consumption, city & hiway? are the parts expensive, or you can compare the prices to honda parts? what are there problems occuring when you reach the 100k mileage? where can i buy spare parts aside from casa? tnx & more power.

if your business is hauling heavy equipment, then the f150's the truck for you.
    That's its main purpose.

Put on a shell it turns into the expedition. People see big cars as status symbols. These car types have very low resale value due to costly mainentance and being a gas guzzler. You dont buy it for it's economy but for its pulling power.

Parts are not plenty compared to japanese vehicles. Also you can't bring it to your neighborhood mechanics for major problems. American cars reliablity are a bit questionable.

i think it would be better to consider the Frontier or Hilux or Strada of the same year
