    Not just a Twin-turbo V6, its a Direct Injection Twin-turbo V6.

Back then, I was torn between buying my Laser RS Turbo or a Ford Taurus SHO. I chose the DSM of course. But, I've driven the classic SHO with its wonderful Yamaha 3.0 V6 many times.

Hopefully this new SHO will live up to its predecessor. Well, that means it'll have to be MT. But, if a version will have an AWD option, then the AT can be forgiven. 350hp on a FWD? Yeesh.

The 2010 Taurus SHO will most likely have AWD as standard since its built on an a FWD/AWD platform.

Here's the test mule of the Twin-Turbo V6 Taurus using the body of the current outgoing Taurus (2:18 of the video).

    AWD.... That'll be sweet.

Notice with hard times, there always seem to be a push for economical/hi-tech methods for hp. An example is the planned twin-turbo V6 (vs a V8). That's quite fine with me. I never was a big fan of the last gen Taurus SHO with its smallish V8 and heavier frame. I preferred the 1992 Taurus SHO the most.
