Are those animal bones sticking out? Makes it look unappetizing. Of course, my growling stomach will say otherwise. He He.

Kinda reminds me of that royal dinner in India Jones And The Temple Of Doom.

Just being observant.... Why is one guy on the last pic drinking his Pepsi with the left hand? Same with the guy on the bottom right of the same pic who's holding his Pepsi with his leftie....Caught on the act, eh?

I though Arabs and other Muslims always ate/drank with their right hand. I know in Turkey, people kinda glanced strangely at me when I drank a soda with my left hand. Turkey happens to be one of the more liberal Islamic nations. So, I found it a little strange to see Arabs drinking with their left hand.

The left hand is never used for: eating, drinking, offering, accepting, passing. The left hand's main use is to wipe the butt.

Also, observe and notice all of them have their right hand only in the dish holder.

I'm sure they're just like us. When the stomach does the talking, we forget everything else.

The only other thing I can think off is some of them are Pinoy in Arab garb. Highly unlikely. But, you never know. I bought similar clothes (along with papyrus hieroglyphic paintings and pure perfumes) when I went to Egypt back in the early 90's.

Add: Reminds me. I'm getting hungry just looking at the pics.

I could be just mingling then with ordinary Arabs, but if I remember correctly, when they eat (with their hands), they compress the food real hard and then they put the food in their mouth with their fingers pointing straight up with the palm facing their mouth.

Now I see in the pictures that they eat more like Pinoys. Something like scooping the food into their mouths.

If I remember correctly, they perceive their left hand as 'evil', and should not be used for eating... Maybe, times have changed.....

OT: May Coke na sa Saudi Arabia since the late 80s...

That looks like rice with the meat. No veggies? I'm no vegetarian. But, I'd like to see at least some bell peppers and onions. Of course if I was sitting down there, I wouldn't be complaining.
