It seems like there is a difference in texture. Flat tops is smoother than curly tops. It's a bit creamier as well.

Flat tops is among the few local chocolates that I like.

the mold also spells a difference. curly tops is a bit cumbersome and the bits that overflow the mini cupcake wrapper are wasted unless you nitpick. hmmm..

Curly Tops is suppose to be the sweeter one than Flat Tops since before (as in waaaay back in the 80's) Flat Tops used to be a bit bitter tasting.

Today Curly has lost much of it's sweetness but fortunately Flat Tops has retained that distinct Ricoa taste.

bought curly tops last year and i found out na hindi na swirly yung ibabaw nya...i mean iba na ung design ng ibabaw ng chocolate, dati d ba may parang paikot yun? ngayon smooth na din sya, nalungkot ako bigla non haha! Alam ko kse nung bata ako, kaya curly tops kse parang may swirls/curls yung top ng chocolate

alam ko ang katapat nyan moonbits ng serg's kaso hindi ito masyado maapreciate ng mga bata kasi ang lasa parang pinatamis na tableang tsokolate, pero yung mga chocolate lover na ang gusto ay hindi masyadong matamis pasok na pasok sa panlasa nila ang moon bits.

kung ang kulay ng plastic wrap ng flat tops ay red orange and silver tapos yung name naman nya ay ay white bale yung sa curly tops naman yung red orange ay ginawa namang syang maroon na nakikita mong isa sa color makikita mo naman sa box ng curly, pero yung combination na silver at white naman sa pangalan nya ay ganun pa rin maging style ng pagkakaprint nito sa plastic wrapped.

ewan ko lang kung marami pang inilalabas ang ricoa na curly tops na naka wrapped in plastic.

naalala mo ba pa na minsan naglabas ang ricoa na pantapat sa NIPS ang pangalan naman nya ay BIG TOPS, halos magpaka similarity ang lasa BIG TOPS sa MnM's ang pagkakaiba lang ng konti mas less ang tamis ng BIG TOPS sa MnM's.

pero mas gusto ko ang lasa ng BIG TOPS kesa sa MnM's.

para matandaan mo pouch nya ang chrome brown na may tatak na ulo mukha ng clown na kamukha sa knick knacks and then sa baba nyan doon naka sulat ang BIG TOP'S
