    One of my many cooking frustrations...

    Peeps, ano bang technique para di dumikit yung itlog sa kawali? Yung nonstick ha.

    i constantly watch in amazement, ths guy selling egg sandwich at a corner where i commute...egg after egg, perfect ang labas. Plain old aluminum kawali ang ginagamit!

    i've tried heating up the pan until the oil smokes, then biglang patay ng apoy, then drop. Wa epek.

    i've tried drowning the egg in oil, giving new meaning to the word "fried", wa epek din.

    Does it have something to do with the class/quality of egg?

    tia

    as per my experience kailangan mahina lang apoy/heat sa stove, tapos ang ginagamit kong mantika ay yun pinagpirotohan nang baboy/chicken. Aoula! perfect sunny side up na hindi sira/basag ang egg yolk.

    Dapat bago ang itlog;

    Dapat mahina ang apoy;

    Dapat may tiyaga ka para hintayin na talagang luto na ang itlog;

    Babaligtarin mo ba (na buo ang pula)? o talagang sunny side up?... May style na winiwisikan ng kaunting mantika ang ibabaw ng itlog para medyo maging firm ito......

    Mag-praktis ka palagi... Makukuha mo rin ito... Ako, napilitan dahil nag-iisa ako for 2 years at walang magluluto para sa akin...

    sa asar ko minsan, minamicrowave ko na lang. healthy, pero iba pa rin ang prito

    Dunno, the malakas-apoy-then-hinaan method doesn't always work for me. nilalambing ko na nga yung paglagay ng itlog, thinking that the sudden drop can make it stick to the pan...wala pa rin.

    hayaan niyo, papraktisin ko yan. magiging aking rin ang itlog, este tagumpay!

    Any tips on how to choose good eggs? ang alam ko lang, the fresher it is, the higher the yolk stands from the white. Yun din ata ang basehan ng grade A, AA, etc? Di kasi maasahan yung quality pag sa palengke.

    This is what I do. Mahinang apoy lang tapos wisik ng mantika sa ibabaw. Habang nagfo form yung egg igalaw mo yung spatula sa ilalim ng unti unti.

    perfect sunny side up egg without burned edges? ... I use a microwave oven and a small oiled shallow dish to cook the egg on low to medium power.

    simple USE SATURATED OIL... or vegetable lard... or kung meron ka pinagprituhan ng porkchop yung mantika nun na may halo na mantika ng baboy

    yan ang secret... same with other fast food chain like jolibee kaya juicy yung manok kasi may vegetable lard yung mantika nila..

    tanggalin mo muna sa brip.

    seriously, ituro ko sana sayo in person, pero try mo to.
    1. initin ang pan
    2. maglagay ng 1tbsp oil tapos you make ikot the pan so the cooking oil will coat the pan.
    3. if you see usok coming from the kawali put to medium fire.
    4. put the egg then you make abang abang by using the siyanse by lifting the sides of the egg so the oil will go underneath thus preventing the itlog from sticking.
    5. flip the egg (optional).
    6. with the extra time
    you can scratch your own eggs and smell.

    easy diba? at first you won't make it but with trial and error you can do it.
    if all else fails, leave the task to wifey and you can do number six while waiting.
    don't forget to smell!

    If you will use "new" na oil, 100% yan na didikit. Try mo yung nagamit ng pang prito or the night before, heat up the oil to smoking then turn the fire off. Takpan mo na lang frying pan, then next day, use mo yung oil na yun. 98% sure na hindi yan hindi didikit.

    Not necessarily. I fry eggs at least twice a week, in both aluminum and teflon cookware.

    The secret is in the proper temperature of both the pan and the cooking oil. Too cold and the egg will stick. Too hot, at siguradong tustado yung itlog in less than 3 seconds. What I do is heat the pan till the oil smokes, wait for it to subside by moving it away from the heat source, then plop the egg.
