kahit anong malaking isda. tuna, marlin, salmon, malasugi (di ko alam ingles nito) etc. Masarap itong butter fried or sinigang.

pag quick food trip, red mega sardines or hot & spicy century tuna. hehe.

    INC?

We have a neighbor before who's with INC, who would cook pork BBQ on Good Fridays in front of their house, and in full view of other people.

i don't really believe in abstaining from meat and eating fish during holy week. i think a lot of people miss out the point. we (are suppose to) abstain from meat because generally more people prefer meat to fish and meat is more expensive than fish, ergo SACRIFICE.

but what if you're the type of person who prefer fish (or any of those expensive sea creatures, like prawns or crabs) to meat? or instead of eating meat you eat bass, salmon or marlin? you're not really making a sacrifice, are you?

you have a point. however, it is mandated by the Church to abstain from eating meat twice a year: Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. It is a very light sacrifice that the Roman Catholic Church requires so, i must say, that we have no sufficient reason not to obey such command, save for those who are not required to do so taking into account the age, health and physical condition of the penitent.

Sacrifice is not limited to NOT EATING MEAT (abstinence). There is fasting, too. And even abstinence from things we enjoy, like refraining from playing games during Holy Week. Even joining the Good Friday (and other days') procession in hot weather is sacrifice. At marami pang iba.
