An important part of the biz is developing a regular crowd. Word of mouth.
Kala ng mga iba... open up ka lang. Right price. Right food. Tastes okay... solb ka na.
NOPE.
You've got to have good food and a target market that keeps coming back for it.

Kaya maganda mag-hunting ng authentic foreign food near the technoparks and other places where other foreigners work... (Chinese food in Banawe, anyone?) Restos that thrive there thrive because they are selling food for a discerning target market.
Not the TOURIST market, ha. Tourists are fickle. They come and go. Instead, foreign managers and and white collar workers. Because they can point you to authentic and affordable foreign food.
Sst. Wag mo ko ibisto.
Siomai... now I'm craving for a sandwich. Been weeks since I passed by there.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

November 11th, 2017 12:17 AM #314kahit naman yun malakas i doubt they're earning. say 6-8pm always full. ngaun pag hinde ka naka-50K gross sa mga oras na yan per day, magsara ka na. ive studied the resto business, they need at least 14 employees per shift, meaning lunch or dinner. magkano na ang minimum wage ngaun 480/day or say P500 pesos.
if say 14 people ate at your restaurant in 6-8 pm dinner at an average of P500/person / meal, then that 14 is just enough to pay for the daily wages. do take note, P500 per person is not that accurate coz minsan share lang sila . eh pano pa yun raw materials, yun aircon, paghugas ng pinggan, sanitzing the place, storing the food (in fridges), cooking expenses.
and then the ultimate question who can afford P500/meal/ in one sitting per day. that addresses the repeat customers, anybody working class even the BGC can do that everday? i doubt 500/dinner/ day x 5 days - P2500 per week x 4 weeks P10000 per month for just dinner. if say someone's salary is P100K which is the very target working class that can afford a P500/dinner per day. eh ang tax ng 100K salary is almost 30% na or like P30K na so when you say P100K, 70K lang yun, tapos minus mo pa 10K mo sa dinner, eh di 60K, eh may hulog ka sa kotse, bahay, mga damit for office use, expenses
dun pa lang, dapat wag na mag-venture ang isang mom and pop restaurant. talo talaga! kahit gano ka galing ka mag-chef or mag instragram or instagram worthy ang interior design mo

Scott's burgers.
Meron pa ba neto? I remembered just now. My uncle used to buy me their burgers and fries.
It's not really that good but the thought that everytime your uncle comes home, he has a pasalubong.
