    anyone tried it yet? nakalimutan ko na lasa nung natikman ko nung nag-open sila dito sa atin before, more than a decade ago i think.

    I have no interest. I tried Popeye's before in Galleria (before they closed) and it was just so so for me.

    Popeye's? Yuk. Seriously, the Philippine establishment fried chickens are much better. I'd take Max's (the one at Las Vegas) over Popeye's any time.

    max here is taste terrible, dry and bland..savory is much better.., my favorite is cibo's rosemary chicken

    I know. Too bad my wife likes KFC. I don't. Bleh. I don't think she cares where it's from so long as it's chicken. You have to remember where my wife is coming from. She used to have to capture and kill her food first. "You want chicken for dinner? Help me catch one at the back yard."

    We also buy chicken and wings from either the Fry's or Safeway deli. They're pretty good.
