I saw that they have recently launched Coke Zero. I even saw this thread about it in another forum and I got curious.

So I actually went downstairs to buy one at the 7-11 and try it. They implied in the big ads they had in the papers and on the billboard on EDSA that it tastes like Coke I believe. So I tried it coz I thought that would be interesting if they can replicate the taste.

For me it did not taste anything like regular Coke. Have you tried it? Is it just me who can't get the taste?

    Nice packaging though.

edit: The other forum had this blog pasted on it just in case you wanted to check re: Coke Zero Launch.

I've tasted Coke Light a few times, and I don't think Coke Zero is any better.

These so-called diet-free/suger-free softdrinks are pointless. Anybody looking to lose weight should cut the soda, period, instead of settling for compromises.

Diet Sodas are completely sugarless... and zero calories, to boot. The only thing is, they contain sodium and potassium... if you're not careful, if you drink too much soda, your sodium levels will go up. Moderation din ang kailangan.

Coke Zero actually tastes more like regular Coke than Coke Light... but it seems to be on the sweet side (a little bit sweeter than Coke, but not as bad as Pepsi Max... ugh...). My wife says it has less aftertaste than Coke Light, but the "new" Coke Light has very little aftertaste compared to the old Coke Light anyway.

I prefer the Coke Light blend. less sweetener, more of that caffeine kick... which is the one reason I prefer Coke over Pepsi. Honestly... softdrinks taste like crap. I only drink them for the caffeine buzz...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

In fairness, I love Pepsi Max as long as it is really cold. but it taste awful when it's not cold. parang beer.

gusto ko rin yung Pepsi Caramel with no sugar din.
