I'm no tough guy. But, I do know my instincts to stay alive is very strong based from my experiences in the Middle East, driving in the forests and mountains of Colombia, running from skinheads in Indiana, and a run-in with a cement mixer truck in Korea.

But, those were all outside the house. At home and when it came to money, the wife's word is law and there's no or, ifs, or buts about it.

At home, I'm a good little boy. But, so long as I have my den, my pc, and my ****, I'm happy. She controls everything else.

Plus, so long as I get some every now and then, I'm happy.

the only reason na suspect ko eh, she's becoming more and more dominant and demanding pero using reverse pshychology. I hate that so much sobra! I've read yun blog about flips & flip pinays. it seems na pati sa Amerika, ganun din ang ibang reklamo ng mga fil-ams dun lalo na daw yun mga bagong salta pinay na naging wifey. they attack you when you least expect it, yun pag may pagkukulang ka na pa-guilty, pa-self pity effect.

Don't worry. You'll learn to go along with her just to spare yourself the agony of trying to argue with her (and ultimately losing) for hours at end.

So long as you get your little amenities, you'll be happy.

One thing you don't want to do is argue with her to the point where she reminds you that you have an accountant, a hooker, a "labandera", a housemaid, a nanny/babysitter, a cook, yadda yadda.

I made that mistake and spent quite a few nights sleeping in the living room.

i've been married for 23 years now so you can call me anything you like - old man, ander de saya, etc. pero it has never come to a point na i loathe to make love to my wife.

2 things:

1. she pissed you off that's why na turn-off off ka. baka ikaw ang me kasalanan.
2. baka naglilihi kaya me sumpong.

speaking of naglilihi, my wife wanted a green mango and that was around 8pm. so off i went to the palengke but the palengke was closed. putcha paktay na but i remembered that one of my friends had a mango tree that had already mango fruits so i went there to ask for a piece or two. i had to climb the tree inspite of the "antik" (tree ants) that were crawling all over me and in the middle of the night. ayaw pa ngang magbigay kasi daw mauubos ang bunga pag napaglihian pero sabi ko 2 piraso lang naman. finally, i was able to get 2 pieces. i was able to get home around 11pm but she was already sleeping. fearing that she must have the fruit eaten right away or else i'd be damned the next day, i woke her up and told her i got the mango she wanted. she took one look at the mango and asked why it took me that long to get it. i told her the market was closed, i had to go over a friend's house, yada yada yada. i'd never forget what she did that night - she turned her back to me and said "i no longer want the mango, i want a balut."
