    Kayo, anong papanaw ninyo dito?

Both the male & female gender are equal... they both have their own strengths and weaknesses (e.g. Men might have the edge when it comes to physical work but women are more compassionate & emphatic generally.).

There's no need to debate which is the "weaker" *** really.

This thread naman is not meant for a debate. Am just asking for the opinion of the guys...

Its true that men and women were created equal, but sometimes, it depends on the the dictates of society and the culture that they are exposed to isn't it?

    Just a thought...

Parang pair of Lovebird. Kapag namatay ang isa, susunod narin ang asawa. Pero mas daring sila dahil yong maiiwan ay talagang mapapakamatay.

well, una una lang talaga when it comes to natural death. Those medyo abuso usually ang nauuna. Men as weaker ***? Depende yan sa will to fight and conquer attitude ng may katawan and one big factor is peace of mind.

i've seen a lot of mature/old couples like this, i.e. ung babae ang medyo nagdodominate...hindi naman to the point of inaander or anything. mapapansin mo lang na yung babae ang laging nagsasalita, naghahandle ng situations, etc.
maybe men are more immature by nature, ewan ko lang.

medyo off topic, but i'm reminded of an old tv episode where this lady was commenting about how competitive the world is, since it's a male dominated society; na pag female dominated daw e mas nurturing and stuff. for some reason i found that comment quite ***ist. women can be as equally, if not more, ruthless than men. parang mas prevalent nga ung inggitan/selosan/tsismisan between women.

filipino men are spoiled by their mothers, then by their wives. So filipino men can't survive without women taking care of them.

    hehe

Malaki po connection. Loss of a loved one can cause severe stress. And that can make a person physically sick. lalo na kung totally dependent si lolo sa pag alaga ni lola.

There are passages in the bible restricting women to lead the GOD's nation. And even for every congregations of GOD only men are allowed to lead. GOD first created Adam and "from Adam" he got a woman called "Eve". In the context of the Bible "Men" is the stronger ***.

Ang sabi nga ng yumaong si pareng Rene Requiestas, kung ang babae ang "weaker" ***, mga lalaki naman ang "we care" ***.

    well, that's sad.

That's why women have been oppressed thru the ages.

Even now, women are still oppressed in many cultures.
