Saw this site. Just enter the address and you'll be shown the property value, if it is mortgaged or not, how much it was mortgaged, name of the owner, date the property was bought, name of the previous owner, etc. Di ba dapat confidential mga ito?

That's why we're very careful about who we write (via snail mail) to. I only snail mail only those I can trust to keep their mouth shut. For those I don't really trust, I also maintain a P.O. Box at the post office for them. Phone numbers, same thing. We're unlisted and only a few people know our phone numbers. Email addresses. We have a separate, seldom used email address for important stuff.

This information is actually available on the public domain to those who know where to look. This site just aggregates the information.

The info is used by insurance companies, real estate agents, brokers, and real estate appraisers (that's me ) to help determine a property's value. The problem is these sites (another one is zillow.com) use algorithms to come up with an "estimated" value, but doesn't take into account details that can only be seen from a visual inspection, but people rely on what they say. They are usually off, because it takes a real appraiser to come out to the property and actually note details and other pertinent things that affect a property's value.

Zillow.com is actually getting sued for giving misleading values.

hindi ganon kamahal ang bahay namin, noh. perks lang sa neighborhood na ito is that may security guard, tennis court, and golf course pero binabago ata ung design ng course (hindi naman ako marunong mag-golf) hahahaha... mapuntahan nga ung site na ito...

hindi sila ganon ka-updated... 3 bedroom na ito tapos naglagay pa ng bagong extension sa bahay... 2004 ung last recording nila...
