my wife's frightening experience

last may5, friday, just a day before i go back home, my wife, 4-yr old son,sis-in-law and mother-in-law came from jollibee(at the junction) and where on their way to sm pampanga when my sis-in-law noticed that the high-tension electric wires on the post ahead of them started sparking and burning, so the vehicles ahead of them obviously started slowing down. when the most frightening thing happen....a major wire fell right on the vehicle ( they said its a mini-truck) just 11/2 car-lenght infront of them...kitang kita daw nila kung pano masunog, magkabsagbasag at halos magkalasan yung mga turnilyo ng sasakyan....matindi pa ay di nila alam kung buhay p yung tao or mga tao sa loob. sabi k ng hipag ko n nurse na wlang mabubuhay sa ganong kalakas na kuryente....kaya halos lahat sila nagpanic..mayamya may nalaglag na secondary wires sa kotse mismo na sinsakyan nina mrs pero buti wala ng kuryente dahil cguro asa major wire n laht na bumagsak sa truck... buti n lang mrs ko medyo kalmante at lumabs ng car para paatrasin mga tao at sasakyan sa asa likod nila kaya nakaalis sila agad sa scene...hanggang makauwi ako kinabukasan ay medyo shock p sila sa nangyari..
yung kotse ng biyenan ko puro gasgas nga sa windshield, hood at sa roof dahil sa bumagsak n wire...pero pinakaimportante is buhay sila....sabi nga nila 'second life' na nila yan....salamat sa Diyos.

ako man siguro mashoshock ako pagkatapos...lalo yung makikita mo pano mamatay ang isang tao at wala kang magagwa.

this is not the first time to hear this accident....kahit sa manila madalas n pumutok nga elec wires coz of overloading at minsan nga may buhay n nabubuwis.

anyway i want to extend our gratitude to chief inspector garu balajadia of PEO sanfernando..sya yung tumulong at nagpakalma sa pamilya ko kasi he was also in the scene when that incident happen.

what happened to the mini-truck occupants after the investigation?

ang alam kung mali kapag nasa oto ay huwag bumaba, mas safe kung nasa oto coz rubber ang gulong. but of course, this is true only when hit by lightning. pano kaya pag ganyan high tension wires

thanks guys.....oo nga.. wala n kaming nabalitaan after non...pero the next day dumaan kami pagdating ko galing clark airport, wala na yung truck pero may kalat pa rin ng mga nasunog na wires.
actually lumabas wife ko sa car nung nakaalis sila sa mga wires, sabi ng brod ko na buti isang wire lang ang tumama, kung 2 daw kasi yun ang talagang delikado....anyway buti talaga walang nangyari.
biyenan ko nga sa sobrang trauma eh di na sya dumadaan don hanggang ngayon.

ewan ko kung di yun nabalitaan nang ibang kabalen nating tsikoteer kasi nagcause daw nang huge balckout sa entire sanfernando area.

sadly... hindi... di daw kasali yung natural calamities related na accidents...
kung yun nga ang reason kung bakit bumagsak yung mga wires...

ot:kakatakot din, nanghina ako nun, asa supermarket kami last sunday wid my niece, tapos mga 4 meters away from me, yun bata kasama niya daddy niya, yun bata around 3yrs old umaakyat sa stante ng delata, di ko pinansin kasi katabi niya yun dad niya and yung older brother niya, i just greeted the mom kasi pasyente ko sila, then i heard a loud blag, i thought it was lata ng sardinas or something na de lata, pero malakas sobra, then i heard a cry, nun nakita ko yun bata nahulog face down...nanghina ako...then yung mom panic, buti supermarket kaya kuha siya agad ng ice... before we leave nakita ko yung mom, sabi niya ok na daw yung anag niya=) pero anlakas talaga pagkabagsak...
