PROCTER & GAMBLE COMES OUT OF CLOSET, NOW PUSHING HOMO***UAL
    TV AGENDA

    Dear Cecilia,

Procter & Gamble, maker of Crest, Tide and Pampers, is the
leading sponsor of two TV programs that continually push the
    homo***ual agenda.

The sitcom "Will & Grace" regularly promotes homo***uality
and explicit ***-talk with jokes about male and female
genitalia, masturbation, oral *** and even anal ***. The
series' two male stars are both homo***ual. From the
beginning, the series has been about nothing but ***.

"Will & Grace" is the program that showed two men
    passionately kissing each other.

According to Broadcasting & Cable online magazine, P&G was
the top sponsor of "Will & Grace" between September 2003 and
February 2004. P&G spent an astonishing $8.2 in sponsorship
of this program promoting the homo***ual agenda.

"Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" depicts five homo***ual men
remaking the "cluttered, straight men of the world" so that
they look, dress and act in the manner of the "cool" and, by
implication, superior "gay" community. The program
consistently seeks to validate and glorify the homo***ual
    lifestyle.

Between September 2003 and February 2004, P&G spent
$2,000,000 in sponsorship of this program promoting the
    homo***ual agenda.

Remember that P&G pulled all their advertising support from
Dr. Laura's program after a complaint from the homo***ual
community. P&G will support programs that are pro-homo***ual
, but refuse to support programs that tell the truth about
    homo***uality!

Procter & Gamble has become a leading advocate for the
homo***ual lifestyle. For more information on P&G's
    promotion of homo***uality, click here.

detergent, and Pampers diapers. (Some are boycotting all P&G
products, which we encourage. To print out a list of P&G
    products, click here.)

let him know that you are participating in the boycott and
will ask others to do the same.

    family.

Will & Grace is one of the few shows that doesn't make gay slapstick the norm, unlike a lot of local shows around. That in itself is already laudable.

If they're looking for something to really make a fuss about, they should check out Queer As Folk, airing on Showtime. Yun talaga, explicit ang homo***ual theme. Maraming gay/lesbian *** scenes. Not that I'm against this show, just saying that there are worse things to whine about on TV than just gay humor.

Regarding Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, well, speaking as a style-challenged hetero***ual male, I can say na kelangan din naman ng mga guys paminsan-minsan na lumagay sa ayos. Syempre mas appealing yun from an aesthetic and hygienic point of view, pero hindi ko naman nakitaan na nag-eencourage sila ng homo***uality e. Yung Out ng Channel 7, 'di ako madalas nanonood. Pero I heard this rumor that their female host has no right to proclaim herself as bi***ual, kasi apparently she has never had a relationship with a guy before. Ewan kung totoo ito.

even the gay community is split between the effect and impact of show's like Will &....Queer Eye....L word

P&G's a business and like it or not they'll profit from "coming out"

a lot of other consumer companies are very active in trying to be one with gay pride

you have to respect the growing "voice" of the third *** everywhere

even when the backlash of gay marriages was very evident hundreds chose to stand up

respect, tolerance & compassion...like anything else the learning can be painful but we move on

but if you ask me what i would do if my son turned out to be gay.... that, i can't even begin to comprehend, much less formulate an answer.

I've got lots of "gay" family and friends.

I wonder what the AFA considers "the truth" about homo***uality?

I disagree with this letter, A LOT. It amounts to nothing more than anti-homo hate mail.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Ano pa nga ba? I suppose it's the same self-righteous, fundamentalist crap that gays are "aberrations of nature" and are frowned upon by God, that homo***uality is a "threat to the sanctity of the family" and a "sickness that can be cured", yadda yadda.

I've had gay men come up to me with not-so-subtle propositions to ask me out, and there have been several instances where gay men would try to touch me as I'm commuting. Nevertheless, I don't go so low as to condemn the gay community as a whole, if only for my gay friends.

imho, this is one big issue where hypocrisy rears its ugliness..di ba plataporma nila bush/kerry 'to non..?..the catholic church has been screaming loud its own stand on this..heto naman pala itong AFA..

then multinational corporate policies has to decide what is in its best interest in projecting its products image to the consumers..what about giant advertising agencies themselves..?..

rights infringement, political ads copycats, bakya quality tv programs, etc..

afaik, ang mentalilitad sa america iba sa utak ng taga saudi arabia o sa mga taboos na prevalent sa nigeria o sa kabakyaan at kalaswaan ng eat bulaga at MTB satin imho..

in the end whatever message is projected thru mass media do not necessarily mean to debase or put insult sa prinsipyo o pananaw ng indibidwal..otherwise walang katapusan na turuan kung sino ba talaga si banal at sino si hudas..'yan lang ho sakin..

my take on this (touching a little bit on religion).

the AFA's POV (and is shared by many other Christian religious organizations) is that they don't outright condemn gay/lesbian people. but neither do they approve homo***uality as if you can recall this is what caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (sp?) in the Old Testament (I was able to read a passage there were this was explicitly described - men preferring to have *** with young men rather than females).

what they are doing is a prevention of the promotion of this lifestyle. but not the outright condemnation of gays/lesbians/bi***uals (when was the last time that you heard of a direct attack against them by the way?). their bottomline is that respect should be still shown to them but not to the point of encouraging it.

though i won't really go to the details as this will just spark a debate / flaming.

though Filipinos really are homophobic to the point of already being rude. remember the ultimate tease to your manhood? "BAKLA!!!" that I think speaks for itself.

I dont need to read the entirety of the email. Looking at the last part and seeing the word PLEASE FORWARD. Although, totoo na P&G supports the Gay community. But it doesnt support homo***ual marriage. It all started in 1992:

    The Truth
It is true that Procter & Gamble contributed to a gay-supported campaign in Cincinnati.
It is not true that Procter & Gamble has made a decision to explicitly support homo***ual marriage.

In 1992 the Cincinnati, Ohio City Council approved an ordinance that prohibited discrimination for, among other things, ***ual orientation.
A loud protest resulted from those who objected to homo***uality being ranked along with race, gender, age, and religion as a reason for protection.
A year later, 62 percent of Cincinnati voters responded to that action by passing an amendment to the city charter (Title XII) which forbids the city from providing protected status to persons "because of homo***ual, lesbian, or bi***ual orientation."
I do watch Will & Grace whenever I get the chance, its really funny!

there's a part of America - the fundamentalist Christian part - that thinks homo***uality is as big a threat to the country as Osama. i guess the AFA claims to represent these people. personally, i don't have the time or energy to hate people who i haven't even met yet.

P&G is free to support any cause they want, as long as it isn't employment discrimination or anything else illegal. also, people are free to condemn any cause P&G supports, or vote with their wallets. it's free speech at its finest.

the truth is that P&G supports these programs because they are a big hit in their target demographic - married women/families. P&G's religion isn't fundamentalist Christianity, it's capitalism
