    gud day to all!

ok lang ba i wheelspin ang bagong oto anyway past na ako ng first 1000kms, actually nasa 1500 na ako and already did the 1000kms oil change. medyo na excite lang ako ksi for a small car vios 1.3e malakas din pala. i did it 3 times na. may masisira ba dun like engine and transmission or will it have a long term bad effect in so far as the engine is concerned.

    tnx

Extra wear on the clutch and tires. But nothing that will really affect your 3-5 year reliability if done correctly.

If you do it right and only a few times, no damage... not any more than you would get from driving it a few hundred kilometers.

If you do it wrong ("sliding" the clutch, lurching, etcetera), say bye bye to your clutch. I know people who've stripped the clutch with just one or two "launches".

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Not everyone needs a supercar to try to have fun with their vehicle.

Not a fan - but whatever floats the TS's boat.

yeah enjoy your car. just be safe going about it, and as much as possible do it when your're alone. if you do it in public most people will think you an a$$. my echo's got 160,000 km under it's belt and it's still burning rubber. so, done right it won't damage much except your tires.

pacensya na nangaling lang ako sa lata ng sardinas na hinihila ok

it is my humble 1st brand new car i want to make fun out of it

i just hope i dont destroy it kaya ko natanong---nirev ko ng mataas tapos binitiwan ko
ayun it made a good screeching sound pasado na sa simple standards ko ganun lang

kinabahan lang ako at baka masira

please do not underestimate cars ---"a car is a car no matter what it is..."

and if you think i can not afford an sti and an evo X the answer is yes! i can

but i wont be buying it...il probably buy an 2012 explorer or a fortuner+focus/gta

in the meantime i am enjoying my simple vios and an old timer

and i intend to keep it that way

because that is where i came from...

Not a fan too but if you are out to improve your skillsas a driver, you should also take time to learn these things and other maneuvers that push the envelope.

Ive burned through a clutch in just a year trying to learn different maneuvers and techniques back when i was younger.

I'm still no Schumacher but at least now I can drive emergency vehicles in a hurried manner while maintaining confidence.

Tip to thread starter, try a beatercar first instead of your new vios. Or borrow a friend's car! Hehe

    ^neither do i.

All cars will be able to produce that screeching rubbery sound when you rev up to it's torque band coupled with stock not so grippy tires.

and if you do it right and rarely, nothing much would happen kung chirp lang ng konti. But if you're doing it like trip mo lang mang burnout or magpakamot then say hello to accelerated wear and tear.

    sometimes meron ako nakikita ganyan

teenage dude suddenly revs... tires screeching

    everyone looks...

everyone wonders what he's trying to prove

maybe to show other people he can do it

he probably only recently learned how it's done...

he probably thought other people don't know how...

oh well... he'll grow up someday

Kung kabitan ng racing slicks? Kaya pa mag-burn out? This reminds me of the 200kph Vios from last year.

I've done burnouts twice in my driving life to this date... The first was the very first time i intentionally tried to move a car at age of 9 or 10... i almost bumped my dad's Lancer box type into our garage wall were it not for the quick thinking of the driver standing next to me (well, he was the one who goaded me to try it out ). The second was with a POS 1.5L Honda Civic which belonged to my friend back in high school (back in the day when everyone and their brothers drove a Civic with a Redline Racing sticker on it's fender).

Even if i had a Evo or Subaru STi, all the more hell i wouldnt do a burnout with it. Mas masakit yan sa bulsa because the torque will eat up its clutch all the more.
