    mga sir, help sa 4E-FE ko. just had it tuned up 2 months ago and na-calibrate na ang TPS and tama naman ang timing that fixed the idling problem the engine had.

    about a week ago bumalik nanaman ang idling problem and even worse, when running on low speed and rpm, pag nag-try mo bilisan ng konte, bumabagsak ang rpm/speed na parang kinakapos sa hangin/gas o mamamatayan but after mga 2 secs (without removing the foot sa gas pedal) biglang akyat ang RPM. plus, parang nahihirapan sha tumakbo pag hindi natatapakan ng mejo malalim ang pedal, unlike pag normal e kahit light foot lang sa pedal e maganda ang takbo, kahit 1.5k rpm shifting.

    checked the hi-ten wires and ok naman, also cleaned the sparks. timing is ok (10 deg BTDC with E1 and TE1 shorted), tire pressure is at 30psi, ok naman when reving at hindi parang lunod on idle.

    will check the TPS kung baka nawala sa calibration, and will also replace the ISCV, as well as yung gasket ng throttle body and auxiliary air valve and see what happens.

    pwede din kaya madumi/palitin na ang Fuel Filter? or yung mismong Fuel Pump?

    any inputs kung ano kaya pwedeng ibang problem?

    check mo fuel pressure during acceleration .

    pressure should be around 35 psi

    Aside from the fuel pressure ... problem might be from a clogged fuel system.

    It might worthwhile to check the fuel system from the tank to the fuel filter.

    do i need a fuel pressure gauge to check for the pressure sir?

    plus, pano ba ma-checheck kung clogged ang fuel lines?

    Yes, you need a fuel pressure gauge set with proper adaptors. The fuel lines are clogged if the pressure is below the required specifications.

    mukhang mali yun pagkacalibrate ng TPS mo. usually those symptoms happens pag mali yun settings ng TPS. baka hindi na reset yun ECU mo nun nagcalibrate before.

    paano mo calibrate ang TPS?? usually volt meter ang ginagamit dyan.. nangyari na sken yan eh wala sa calibration yung TPS hindi maganda response ng engine..

    after i-calibrate yung TPS ko sir, naging ok ang takbo for a month so i consider it to be the least possible problem pero baka kasama parin. di nga lang na-reset yung ECu after calibration. may effect ba yung if ayos naman ang calibration but hindi na-reset ang ECU after?

corolla big body (4E-FE Engine) performance problem
