    i think they launched this just last week locally? anyone w/ experience using this already here or abroad?

    parang mga 1.3k ata iyong 10w-40 pero mineral oil lang sa pagkakaintindi ko. hindi ko masyado kinilatis kasi.

    sa ace hardware ko siya nakita. may promo pa nga sila

    Good video on the stuff.



    But as far as oil goes new or recycled it kinda sucks. Very low Zinc and Phosphorus so it's anti friction package is not impressive at all. On average only 820ppm zinc and less than 700ppm Phosphorus. They try to make up for it with a higher dose of moly but it's still not a oil I would waste money on.

    ^ ah ok. so in general, valvoline oils are sub par?

    They are on par with say Castro, It's the new API ratings that make them like that. US oil is really getting weak. Now there Diesel oils are very good.

    ung diesel line ng Valvoline ay "All Fleet" and I was thinking perhaps this is gasoline engine oil.

    if my memory serves me right, those valvoline nextgen oils are also low in tbn. 7 or lesser pa ata.

    all fleet diesel oil ng Valvoline tbn of below 10. 9.5 me thinks.

    Lots of topics re: nextgen oils on BITOG, mixed reviews etc.

    I see.... ano ba norm or high in TBN sir? based on the other thread I see good feedbacks on Mobil Delvac MX and Delo Gold Ultra.

    afaik, good automotive engine oils must have a tbn of 10 as a minimum for heavy duty applications. locomotive, marine oils about 50 or higher.
