October 20th, 2014 10:23 PM #1Hi. I'm new here.
Kailangan lang ng tulong. Yung kotse ko kasi hirap humatak at mag accelerate. Nissan Sentra 98 model sya. 108k kms na. Binili namin sya ng brand new.
So mga last month, pinalinis ko ung cervo. Kasi nga, mahina pa din humatak. Nag improve naman sya ng ilang linggo. But last week, pinalinis ko naman ung fuel injectors.
So, anu kaya pwede ko pa ayos, patingnan or papaltan ulit?
Thanks!

When was the fuel pump last replaced? You might want to have that checked.

October 21st, 2014 12:55 AM #4if the engine appears to be working harder on pressing the pedal, but your car does not seem to be picking up speed...
i would try the advancer circuit. i understand the sentra's is built into the distributor..?
in the olden days, it was easy to check the advancer...nowadays, everything is electronic.., and the 90 degree engine block rotation, leaves many things hidden from view..
good luck.

What transmission type do you have?
Are the wheels free to rotate ( brakes not dragging)?
Is the exhaust system free flowing?

October 21st, 2014 10:29 AM #8I'm not good with cars, but all I know from your post is, yes, the engine is working harder when I step on the pedal but does not pick up speed quickly. My rpm even goes 2.5-3 to achieve a decent speed.
My car has M/T. And my brakes aren't dragging. I don't know or understand the part bout the exhaust system.
So yung pump sa likod, iprepressure test? Tapos medyo mahal yung labor dun.
Salamat sa mga replies!

You may also have loose compression already. Pa-compression test mo engine.
