air filter /cold air intake- for carburator type?

tanung ko lang po kung meron bang racing filter or cold air intake para sa carburator type pa na engine like sentra na lec or fe or alike.. kung meron man saan nabibili.. pls help thanks

they sell k&n filters of different types in their shop (Fusion R).

you have two choices:

first and the easiest is the "saucer" type.

second is a customized cone type air filter.
- you can buy any ordinary cone type air filter including the tube and clamps. you just have to buy an adaptor.

galing din ako sa simota pero pag may budget go for k&n na...bili ka na rin ng recharger(cleaner and oil) para kapag madumi na ang filter gamitin mo lang nito...

Alam ko pwede yan conversion lang ang gagawin ka-member ko sa GEARSPEED MOTORSPORTS ganyan ang ginawa niya carb din siya kaso toyota XE pero air filter na pang fuel injected ang ginamit..Naghanap lang siya sa banawe..

tataas ba ang consumption sa gas pag nagpakabit nito? alam ko pag binirit eh tataas talaga pero pag normal city driving lang?

Any engine can be fitted with an aftermarket air intake system.

For carb engines, the usual free flow intake is the saucer type stacked on top of the engine.

If you want a cone filter or a CAI, then you need an adaptor. For Corolla 1.3 engines, they used the OEM adaptor used on the Toyota Lite Ace. Carb engine ang Lite Ace but putting the air filter on top of the engine was impossible so Toyota made an adaptor for it. The adaptor may also fit other carbs.
