Caltex Delo Gold Ultra

Any inputs on this? My current ride is a Vios and in some forums they recommend the use of this oil in gasoline engines because of its cleaning properties.

I gave it a try and my engine seems to be responding well despite it being originally advertised for diesel engines. My filter is Union brand. I plan to change oil after 1000 kms with Delo Gold Ultra again paired with Baldwin oil filter then change oil after 5000kms. After that, still deliberating whether I will switch to synthetic oil or continue with this regime. But I want to know everyone's opinion on this change oil regime. Thanks.

Yun nga rin po sir ang naresearch ko about this oil. It's a 15W 40 multigrade oil and it's cat con friendly. Ang sabi lang is follow 5k change oil kasi masmakapit daw sa loob ng makina kapag napabayaan magsludge.

Delo gold is CH-4. Delo gold ultra is CI-4. Delo 400 is CI-4+.

Gusto ko rin sana itanong if ano pedeng alternative sa DGU? Kasi I confirmed sa Owners Manual ng Vios, we can use a multigrade oil 15W40. What I learned from DGU kasi is it's cat con friendly, since its ZDDP level does not exceed the required amount. Is Mobil Devac MX safe for gas engines?

Naka promo din ba ang delo gold ultra? Na ask ko kasi sa isang auto supply may promo daw ang delo but ang available nila is yung delo gold lang. Parang 765 pesos yata for 5 liters na.

depende pa rin ata sa API rating na recommended sa engine mo. pag SN and above 800ppm ang limit ata.

Kanina pa ko naghahanap ng DGU sa mga caltex hirap pala hanapin nun.
