there were some of the considerations we had when we were pondering on getting an engine swap before. we overhauled the engine para less hassle with reliablity issues. hth
kung bolt-on, electricals nalang prob mo..kung same engine no probs, rehistro lang..
Depends on why you want to do an engine swap. Some folks swap in a newer engine when they do not want to invest anymore in repairing their present engine.
Some do it for more engine power.
Cons?
If you slap in an engine that was not designed to be a 'bolt on' application for your vehicle, watch the resale value drop like a hot potato. That is unless you put in a very expensive engine, was very meticulous with the backyard engineering part or both.

Wiring is the trickiest part in an engine swap. Make sure the one connecting them is a true specialist, because bad wiring will result to undesired operation and decrease in engine life.
By the way, what car and what engine will you change it into?
Pros:
It could be cheaper to buy a new engine than to overhaul the existing one, especially kung same engine lang ang ipapalit.
You can get a newer engine.
Cons:
with exception sa LTO main--diliman,

or i-file ko muna yung change owner then change engine?
magulo pag ganun..change ownrer muna, then change engine...
