Every change oil I change the oil filter with Baldwin
I am having a dilemma because some say RP fully synthetic can last up to:
10k- people in the forum
20k- RP ads
And some say if I have the money it is better to change it every 5k

What mileage interval do you think is best to change my oil? 5k, 7k or 10k?

Yo stock 5k interval in pms. 7.5k interval in manual. For oil, SG, SH, SL, SM or SN.

I drive at night like 12mn to 7am. Whenever I dont have booking for like more than 5 minutes Im turning the engine off which I know starter will get worn out. No required time but average 80kms mileage per day.

also note 7500km or 6months under severe conditions is based on fully synthetic oils(0w20)

my reco is buy 5w30 na zic 6L jugs (1500pesos)and just use 3L every 2months. this is the most economical way. we have a zic rep here.


4500 pesos in oil in 1yr is a good cost for grab. oil filters and air filters are other costs to consider


find a shop where they can do the oil change and clean your filters.

3L...what's recommended is already extended drain intervals.

ciaz k14b ngine is similar sa India.

RP.. is ok but how much is it per liter? dati 600/liter

250/liter is better if you do the math.

I agree in terms of price malaki deperensya.
625/quart na ngayon lowest ng RP.
HAHA nasanay kasi ako kay RP dahil sa speedyfix ako nagpapachange oil but now I’m the one doing it na. I’ll definitely do more research about rp vs zic. Haha

I use royal purple also + baldwin filter on CRV. I change oil every 6 months usually nakaka 7k kms in 6 months ako.

Kung gamit mo car sa grab I would suggest use zic na lng then change oil every 5k. Kung everyday 80kms takbo around 2 to 3 months makaka 5k kms na takbo ka
