xxW/xx ba kamo? <--- viscosity ng lube yan.

xxW ---> winter grade
xx ---> summer grade

pag mas mababa ang vicosity ng lube (ex. 10w/40 or 0w/30) mas malabnaw yung oil.

nagkakatalo lang naman yan mga yan during engine start-up e. pag malabnaw kasi oil, mas okay yung fluidity niya inside the engine, therefore mas mabilis siya mag-circulate... not unlike yung malapot na oil, magstart siya mag-circulate sa engine kapag mainit na yun makina mo.

yun ang pagkakaalam ko....

i suggest you still follow your car's manual regarding what oil or viscosity to use.

kung multigrade kasi, nakakapag-adjust yung oil sa climate.

yung Castrol GTX w/ Synthetic Guard ba ay tunay na synthetic oil or simply to deceive pipol that it is real synthetic oil...wala kasing nakasulat na synthetic sya eh..........

it says "w/ synthetic guard" naman, not synthetic oil. it maybe deceiving to some people but it never mentioned anything about it being a synthetic oil. manufacturer's would clearly state if its synthetic or mineral plus i haven't found a synthetic that "cheap".
