oil is over the maximum limit during the change oil

is there any problem on the engine when oil is over the maximum limit based on the stick gauge during change oil? I got wifeys car for a change oil in a petron gas station, when i checked on the gauge stick the following day, the oil indicates over and above the maximum limit. its a vios 1.5 G car po pala.

i think the problem of over-filling with oil, is that the crankshaft's reciprocating arms might reach into the oil and act as an egg-beater. the oily foam that is generated might be sucked up by the oil pump. this oil-and-air mix may not provide adequate lubrication protection to the metal parts..
it is true that modern oils include an anti-foam additive... but why tempt fate?
