brand new 4d56 turbo engine how much?

Hello guys!! just want to ask how much a brand new 4d56 turbo engine for my friend's local pajero 89, and where can he find a shop that selling it.

For what i heard from one of my friend, they bought a bnew 4d56 engine (di pa sya turbo) for their L200 from citimotors, i think they cost them around 220K for the engine, not sure if labor and other parts were included.

Di ko rin po sure kung totoo kwento nya, just for sharing to have an idea just incase its really true. hehehe........ peace!!!

gusto daw nya restore paj nya,

ang akala ko mga 80-90k lang yon brandnew 4d56, dahil may nabasa ko dto sa isang thread yung prize daw ng 4m40 na brnd new eh 140-160k.

di yan nagkakalayo.

for me lang ha, kung gusto nya orig parin, at talagang restoration, dalhin nya ung makina sa AER sa may quezon blvd. pwedeng i-rebuild yong makina nya using brand-new internal components (pasamahahan pa nya ng stage-1 or port and polishing paa mas malakas ang hatak.)

yung magagastos nya sa b-new stock engine, aasikaso pa siya ng papeles sa LTO, plus di na matching sa VIN plate ung engine # e....

sa makina kalimitan internal lang ang nasisira, pag nabasag ang block/cylinder head, grabe na yong naranasan ng makina...

and for me ha, pag-restore lang, dapat matching lahat ng numbers otherwise di na restore yun-->modification yun...atleast kung matching parin, di agad iisipin ng titingin na na-overhaul na ang makina...

I dont think your friend could find a brandnew 4d56 turbo engine its like looking a pin in a haystack. The chance's he has is to call Mitsubishi corporation(Philippines) if one available on the market. If it is available it will cost him a fortune. Perhaps, he could settle in a used 4d56 engine or rebuilt, but brandnew....I dont know.

i think the 4d56 plain is different from the 4d56 turbo. iba yung design ng pistons and intake - which is why its not a bolt-on process pag lalagyan ng turbo yung mga diesel na adventure. please do check before buying a surplus unit.

you can run a 4d56t without a turbo, but i don't think its a simple job of putting a turbo on a regular 4d56.

Share ko lang mga peeps..nakabili ako ng Mitsu 4d56T engine which i placed to my Kia besta. the cost was P46T way back 2001 bought it in Pilipinas Diesel, along molino rd in cavite almost zapote na yun

That's secondhand. And pretty cheap, at that. Secondhand turbo engines can go for 50-60k.
