2011 honda city fuel consumption

Hi there, question on fuel consumption:


i recently bought a 2011 honda city 1.5e.
- I loaded a full tank of caltex gold (95octane), automatic stop.
- reset the odo trip
- drove about 200++kms for one week.
- re-fueld full tank again same gas station, same gas, automatic stop.
- the inidicator showed an average of 7.4Kms/L.
- i also made the direct calculations (210kms/ 28L), roughly the same results.
- majority is city driving pasig to makati traffic

Questions:
- is this normal range of consumption? I read that it should be withint 10Kms/L city
- need some advice to increase fuel efficiency.

Leave your house early and your office late. Seriously.

Even the best hypermiler cant do anything with stop and go traffic..

went for a long drive last weekend and average nya is about 10.5kms/L it think ok ok namana

Baka naman kasi wala o kailangan ng tune -up, kaya malakas sa FC.

Honda city should have FC of about 8-12 km/liter depending on your driving habits and the traffic conditions. If below 7 medyo mababa sya.

Magkano bentahan ng honda city 2011 1.5e at? Right price na po ba 400k? I'm planning to buy kc 2nd hand.....
