    do clean your air intake filter monthly.

    Hi I owned a Toyota Vios 1.3J I saw a shop that offer a tune-up i have no idea about tune-up

    no may be once a year it depends of the performance of the engine

    just follow the PMS (Preventive Maintenance Schedule) on your manual, if you still have it... if not take your car to a reputable shop and have them check your car and if they're honest enough they'll tell you all the things that needs to be done with your car, imho

    there isn't much you can "tune" in a computer-controlled engine. just adjust the valve clearance as specified in the manual

    changing filters, oil, etc isn't called a "tune up". it's called PMS

    in the old tune-up packages of yesteryear, it included, among others, valve lash check and adjust, spark plugs check, clean and adjust (and put it back in the engine!), ignition timing check and adjust, distributor check, clean and adjust, and the walang kamatayang oil and filter change and air filter clean/change, and other fluids check (transmission oil, differential oil, brake and clutch fluid, windshield wiper liquid. . it also included, in some shops, option to brakes and tires check and clean (additional fees, of course).

    with today's electronics-laden cars...

    Sa car mechanic ko ang definition nya ng tune up ay change oil at throttle body cleaning at kung ano ano pa.
