I have not tried it yet but i was told before that Shell made this because the Rimula X appeared to be "over spec" or something when it came usage in light diesels.

what do you mean by over spec? nalugi sila sa price coz over sa quality? O lugi na kaya gumawa ng isa pang brand.

May nakapagsabi nga na higher grade ang Rimula X. Yung quality niya daw is beyond what is required of normal diesel engine oils.

Shell Rimula X the last time I asked was priced at 115 per liter while Petron Rev-X Trekker is 105 per liter. Alam ko nagtaas na yata sila pero comparatively mas mura ng kaunti Petron. Both are API CH-4 and SAE 15W-40 rated mineral diesel oils. :D

I bet Shell will come out with a higher tier oil under the Helix line just like their Helix Plus and Helix Ultra for cars. Baka nga same name din -- like Shell Helix Diesel Ultra :mrgreen:

Dapat lang maglabas sila. Inintroduce na ng Caltex Delo 400 nila which has the highest API rating of CI-4. Nabasa ko sa news yesterday. It will benefit consumers like us in their introduction of better poducts.
