sasakyan ng wife ko biglang nag iba konsumo ng sasakyan nya at bigla humina hatak na rin
itong linggo lang nagsimula lahat
sunday - pa gas full tank
Weekdays - opis bahay lang (5km total of 10km balikan)
Tuesday - kinuha ko sa opis nila at inuwi ko sa bahay, hapon sinundo ko

Spark plug - 7-8 months pa lang , but nilinis kasabay ng fuel filter cleaning

- NO dark smoke (White smoke occur only during morning after car start but nawawala din after a few minutes , malamig kasi dito sa amin
- on idle, check oil no blow by.. pag taas ko ng dip stick may pressure pa rin
- on idle, check spark plug.. kada angat ko tumutunog parang tik tik tapos ung color ng spark is somewhat light blue, or white
- no oil leak

5kms is pretty short. It'll help if you measure your consumption exactly (in kilometers per liter).

With the 1.3 LEC, you have to clean the carburetor out every 5,000 to 10,000 kilometers to keep the fuel economy good. All it requires is a good spray of carb cleaner and choking the carb. Also check the condition of your air filter.

What gasoline did you use? Maybe it was an E10 gasoline brand?

hmm.... GOLD (caltex)

when E10 implemented hindi na ko nagpa gas ng Silver

and if in case nagpalagay ng Silver there will be a slight different in FC but not that too much

ganun din FE ng kapatid ko... average ko 7km/l lang then 8km/l naman nung nag tagaytay kami... so sad... hehehe

I think 1st sir tune up muna... palit fuel filter, air filter, oil and sparkplugs. Then palinis ng Carb using carb cleaner. pa check na rin yung breaks and wheel bearing kung need to replace na din. Camber alignment na rin po. Sama niyo na rin yung tire pressure sir.

Most owners sometimes neglect to use there car for long driving or highway driving to let all the carbon let out on the exhaust pipe . Have you noticed that when you use your car for a long drive you feel something different on acceleration of the car it feels light compared to use it on a city driving in a 5 to 10km a day . Just my observation.

Yesterday I had my Brothers FE tuned up... Looks like this time nakuha na yung tamang timing... The engine feels more responsive than before... hopefully by next full tank we can achieve better millage... Bro pa tune up mo muna mabuti and check timing...

Try to check next time you will go for a long trip observed the carbon on your tail pipe if the carbon is whitish meaning to say your engine is in good condition and the fuel burn well.

MIGHT BE SLIDING CLUTCH. Please check

tune-up might be needed. Not just replacing the spark plugs but with valve clearance adjustments.

you might also want to check on the exhaust pipes, baka may butas (not needed if wala namang nadagdag na ingay sa tambutso)
