help distributor leak

guys help naman, sa umaga every time na mag check ako engine, lagi ko napapansin ung leak sa bandang ilalim ng distributor, gasket lang ba problem kaya? ung auto civic hatchback 92-95 model stock ph12 engine. Help naman po. Salamat

palitin na yung maliit na oil seal sa loob ng distributor mo. mura lang papalitan yan. just bring it to your trusted mechanic.

refer ko na rin po problem ng smallbody ko w/4af engine, binuksan ko distributor ko, changed o-ring and found out that oil was leaking sa center kung saan nakakabit ung rotor ng distributor. kaya kahit palitan ko o-ring meron pa ring oil leak. meron pa po ba remedyo or kailangan na palitan ung buong distributor? TIA po!

I have read a thread from another forum discussing the same problem, meron daw "oil seal" mismo sa sa loob ng dizzy housing/assembly. pano po ba kalasin para mapalitan ang "oil seal" na nasa loob ng distributor, plano ko po i-DIY na lang para makatipid, tight budget po kasi ako ngayon. TIA po

in addition to changing the shaft seal, change the o ring between the distributor housing and the cylinder head. check the drilled oil return passages on the cylinder head for sludge. if the oil does not readily drain back to the sump, it accumulates on the cavities and start leaking on the distributor

I also had the same problem. My mechanic removed my distributor and brought it to the machine shop to have the oil seal replaced with a new one. then kinabit nya lng ulit. ok na sya ngayon.

saan kayo nagpapalit ng oil seal sa loob ng distributor? twice ko na pinapalitan and parehong nag leak pa rin ang gli distributor ko. nagtataka lang ako kasi di naman dinala sa machine shop for both fixes.
